Viridian Group grew out of an unusual circle of friends. Having shared interests, and being involved in the same community for years, it just made sense that we would combine our strengths and talents. Each a seasoned veteran in their respective area, our team is committed to being the best for our clients in all we do. Furthermore, we practice everything we preach, and we don't intend to stop.

Jason Cupp

President, CEO and Managing Consultant

Viridian Group was created out of the entrepreneurial mind of Jason Cupp. Cupp attended the University of Kansas and pursued a degree in Marketing and Advertising, with minors in English and Communications. A proven facilitator, group leader, public speaker and negotiator, Jason will add a new dimension to your company. He has led many companies throughout his corporate résumé; his best efforts have gone into the creation of Viridian Group. As the Managing Consultant, Jason's twenty plus years of business interest and ownership is a valuable asset offered to Viridian Group team members and clients. With his encouraging style of coaching, clients can expect to be energized about their business, no matter how big or small, and feel confident the next steps will accomplish their goals.

Jason currently holds numerous positions that strengthen his commitment and knowledge to run Viridian Group. He brings this expertise to you:

• He is the Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of Highland Outdoor, a company he started twenty years ago. Highland is a leader in the exterior green industry in the Midwest.
• He is also President and CEO of JMAR Enterprises, Inc, a family investment firm that was formed with his parents, Charles and Marsha.
• Jason serves as Treasurer of the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET), a trade association representing 4,300+ green industry member companies in the United States and beyond.
• Jason is a Certified Kolbe® Consultant, a tool utilized by Viridian Group in the majority of our clients businesses to create team synergy and define natural instincts.
• Jason is a Certified Landscape Professional (CLP), a mark representing evidence of the industry’s highest standards of professionalism and knowledge. Fewer than 1% of all Landscape Professionals have achieved this certification.
• In the past, Jason has served on the Reconnect Resources Kansas City Board of Directors, the Professional Landcare Network Board of Directors, the International Certification Council, the Certification Board of Governors and the International Liaison Committee.
• Jason is very involved in the Young Life Chicagoland region. Young Life is a non-denominational middle and high school ministry in many of the schools in the Chicagoland area.

When time allows, you might catch Jason with friends and family at a Chicago Cubs, or Kansas Jayhawks game. Or look under water, he may be scuba diving, or looking for the golf ball he just sunk!
