Viridian Group Identity

Though simple, the Viridian Group logo and name is a great depiction of who we are and what we strive to be as a business. Viridian, technically, is Chromium Trioxide Dihydrate, or simply, a green pigment. Created in 1838, the pigment was lauded for its durability and lack of toxicity. Painters and printers quickly fell in love with its versatility. To this day you will find the viridian pigment in use in all forms of print, paint, and photography. Likewise, Viridian Group seeks to be lasting, life giving, and versatile. We believe a company must be progressive, forward thinking and innovative if it is to thrive in an ever-changing marketplace. We like to think of ourselves as a firm committed to bringing new life to your business.

Green is the color of growth. In art you will often find greens used to depict hope, renewal, fertility, health, harmony, prosperity and life. Naturally, viridian green seemed a perfect match for our logo. Several different possible logos before the large "V" in the viridian green circle stood out. Jason loved how the "V" communicated a transformation from a conventional form to an inspired, innovative form.
